It was just a normal Saturday. Caught the number 6 bus at Hyde Park. Said Holt Park on it!
When it got to Arndale Centre Headingley there was a commotion downstairs. I thought it was football hooligans. I was upstairs in the front seat. I noticed that the bus was being evacuated. I turned my Video recorder on to get pictures of the suspected Yobs and help the company.
When I got downstairs I was the last passenger on the bus and asked the driver why we had stopped. He gave a rather rude answer and when he noticed my recorder he told me it was illegal to use it and told me he was going to take my to the Police station.
He switched the lights off and told me to sit down, closed and locked the doors from his cab. Fortunately I had researched the Firstbus emergency exit procedure. I pressed the red button once, it beeped and the driver again locked the door. I pressed the button again and this time just managed to slip through the gap to freedom.

According to research I have done today, It is not Illegal to video record on a bus nor is it a breach of the Conditions of Carriage in England! The bus companies and Metro do it all the time to us!
The Driver failed to give information to passengers, who had been put off the Firstbus halfway home and had to buy replacement tickets.
I have read that drivers are encouraged to use CCTV to catch people eating sweets or feeding babies! All they are supposed to do is take your name or address or charge the standard fare of £50 if caught.
If someone forgets to pay they get done but what can a passenger do who has paid and gets put off the bus?
If you become homeless in Leeds, lots of people make a fortune out of your plight. How do I know? I let a homeless person sleep in my garden in a tent.
My conclusion is that places like St Georges Crypt, need serious funding cuts and the Homelessness Industry, needs a big review like it has in Scotland, where homeless people now get a house instead of charity.
Leeds Council have closed three of their homeless hostels in the past year.
My experience of St George Crypt, through contact with a homeless person is that it is basically flawed. They take people in, pray at them and put them at risk of sexual abuse and use their charity to raise donations of food for single homeless people, mainly men. They seem to mean well?
The Crypt usually charge their customers for food, and have a rule that says their prisoners cannot go and buy a cheaper meal at Macdonalds and eat it in their room.
St Georges Crypt have a vast surplus of donated food, and they collect it on behalf of single homeless, so where does it go?
It goes to the food banks, like the one our Lord Mayor opened today in Armley.
The problem is that these food banks mainly give food to families with children. They have rules about who qualifies for support.
Food banks usually let single people down, and families who get income support.
Who gets most of the free food? Those who are excluded from social security, and fast food outlets that need low overheads, I never mentioned asylum seekers?
PS if you become homeless tonight, why not go to a 24 Hour Mcdonalds, its cheaper than St Georges Crypt, has clean toilets, Wifi, you don’t get prayed at, and if you throw your id away you can go down the foodbank, also its legal to sell your body and your soul?
If you get Disability Allowance, and stay in a hostel too long, you get disqualified and then evicted, then it all starts again! Back to Mcdonalds!
There have been by elections on Leeds council before, basically the council have a duty to report the vacancy to the electorate and invite two residents to call a by election. This they have failed to do.
The late Cllr Suzi Armitage has been deleted from council websites, and misinformation is being distributed within council circles to the effect that the Labour Party has to call the election, or alternatively this has to wait till May.
This is totally incorrect and obviously, I raised this with a few opposition members at the council tea break yesterday.
So if anyone reading this would like the by election to be called, all that has to be done is to write a letter to Electoral Services, and democracy will take its course?
The basic problem is that if the by election is not called within certain deadlines, the vacancy might be filled by a process called co-option, that would mean that the ruling Labour group of councillors would decide who their new Whinmoor councillor is!
Following on from this there is also a conflict of interest that might deter prospective candidates or their parties from interfering with the establishment.
I propose that the by election should take place on St George’s Day April 23 2013!
An appropriately worded letter will be sent to the council and signed by myself and another if this stand off continues!
I went along to the Autism Reference Group today at the Civic Hall, main business was to put forward concerns to the Autism Partnership Board. Three concerns were Welfare Reform, Housing and Employment. I am going to speak on Personal Independence Payment and bedroom tax etc.
When the meeting closed, I noticed there was a full council meeting and sat in the public gallery. After about 20 minutes they decided to have a rest and a cup of tea. The Lord Mayor invited the ten of us public to join them.
I was able to speak to two of my local councillors about various issues, like the forthcoming by election at Whinmoor.
Cllr Anne Castle, Lord Mayor is campaigning for crohns and colitis diagnostics funding. this includes a capsule that is swallowed and comes out the other end with a video recording of the entire digestive tract.
I asked Anne if these capsules were disposable or if they got recycled.
She said they were disposable.
I ate two digestive biscuits, had a chat about by elections procedure and set off for the number six bus.
The Council decided its Budget today, look out for details about the cuts!

Suzi Armitage – 2nd March 1952 – 6 February 2013
Suzi was welcomed to St James’ church Seacroft yesterday. Arrived in a co-operative willow weaved coffin, as mourners sang “Amazing Grace”. There were prayers and readings from Luke 10: 25 -37. Leeds Leader Councillor Keith Wakefield and the Reverend spoke about Suzi. Following further prayers and the Hymn “Abide With Me” the deceased left the church for committal at Lawnswood Crematorium, accompanied by close friends and family.
The congregation in St James Church was full and standing, and were invited to Seacroft Village Hall for refreshments. Donations were made for St Gemma’s Hospice and a charity.
The Lord Mayor and many elected representatives were present, councillors, MP’s and constituents, stood side by side, to say farewell to Suzi Armitage.

I joined the party in 1983, when a railwayman, stayed a member till 2007, always active in local politics. The party changed and the key issues that caused me to resign were fairly straightforward. First, Labour expelled the RMT Union, then they became unbearably right wing. I resigned and stood as a Weetwood independent candidate. I was invited to join the Liberal Democrats, but because of their continuing lack of democracy, and the lack of a party branch I gave up. I continue my railway connections as chair of the Leeds Railway Pensioners. The Labor Party and the former Labour Government treated RMT and railway pensioners with contempt over an issue in Scotland. In 2010 I joined the English Democrats mainly because they were neither right or left wing, and have some fresh ideas that involve putting England first, and fair deals for English People. I am still a member of the rail union TSSA and continue to campaign on railway issues!

I got a mail this morning from Peter Marks, an apology, as the Cooperative adulterated my food with horse. However, there are other problems down the co-op that need sorting, like them secretly feeding us members with Halal Meat.
Like he said in his mail, the co-operative was set up to address the issue of food contamination.
I am therefore asking Peter Marks to resign, and maybe before he does, maybe with a really great pension, consider this issue of political correctness.
The Cooperative sell lottery tickets, and one particular one is called “Pigs Might Fly”
National Lottery. Jenny C bought one of the tickets, as a cooperative member and won a prize!!!
When she got hungry and took it down the corner shop to claim her prize, the keeper was so offended by the picture of the flying pig, as against her religion, she could not touch it, or pay out the money?
Maybe the Co-operative need to get a new chief executive, who cares, chances are its more likely that pigs might fly, or even less, the co-op consider halal pork products or eqineburgers?
When an organisation is run by a committee of far left extremists like the co-op is, these daft ideas cannot get stopped, so if the cooperative must sell horse, halal meat please put it on the label Peter Marx, Goodbye!
An activist involved in exposing Common Purpose contacted me last night and has sent information about how much Leeds Council spends on this organisation.
There are rumors on the internet that a Common purpose network might be involved regarding an increased suicide risk in Bridgend, South Wales.
I have made a recent post expressing concerns about “Mad Horse Disease” possibly caused by an organism called Borna Disease Virus, that could be in horsemeat and the environment.
I did an internet search this morning and was able to show a supporter that Bridgend has had large numbers of diseased and dying horses galloping about school playing fields, this needs to be investigated!
I am posting a request for local people, to stand for election in this Town Council Ward.
Why not fight the big parties who have councillors in Broadfields:

The basic problem is that a councillor has died and normally in a parish council the vacancy would be filled by a process called co-option. Upon investigation, eight local residents have signed a document to call a by election. Concerns locally are that this is a very costly process and it was probably inititiated by the Labour Party.
Democracy is expensive but basically it has to be fair. in 2011 Broadfields Ward had 2912 constituents, that can be seen on the electoral register, thats roughly about 2000 houses, so an election campaign could be a fairly easy task.
I am willing to help anyone stand against the big parties in the Broadfield Ward. All you have to do is get a nominations pack from Leeds Council, no deposit needed, just two signatures required, a proposer and a seconder, and to be a candidate you either have to live or work in the parish or live within 3 miles of it.
I have lived in the area covered by the Broadfields Ward, as has my daughter. I have even represented part of it, as a Labour Councillor for the former Cookridge Ward, that included the Bridgewoods. I have been actively campaigning for the Railway as part of the Harrogate Line Users Group. My grandchildren go Horsforth School.
I thought about standing as a Horsforth town councillor for Broadfields Ward in 2011. If anyone would like me to do this in 2013 and sign my form, I could stand in this election. At present I am a member of the English Democrats Party, I have stood for election as an independent candidate before.

I went down to Leeds Council Elections Office today and asked when the Whinmoor by Election would be called. Answer was that if any two Leeds electors put in a written request the ball would start to roll. I have passed this on to English Democrats HQ so maybe the battle might start next week?
When I was there I noticed that there was going to be a by election in Broadfields Ward, Horsforth Town Council. The three big parties are having a war there and spending money that should be for the community on fighting each other.
Do you want to be a Horsforth Councillor? you need to live or work there, live within two miles of it, and get a proposer and seconder?
This ward has Labour, Conservative, Libdem. The fourth member is pretty vacant!
Fight the Big Parties now in Horsforth Broadfield Ward, spend the money on flowers, the environment, potholes, not erections or elections!
I just looked at the UKIP pseudo tory website, members are encouraged to report by election opportunities, I think this is a very sick practice and fails to give any respect to hard working community activists who may have died.
It is good to have a website that does advertise by elections to all people with political ambitions, so why not get the Electoral Commission to advertise casual vacancies to all, not just those who flout data Protection?
There is a vacancy for a councillor for Cross Gates and Whinmoor Ward following recent sad events. The council are expected to announce this soon, the procedure appears to be that they publish the details of the vacancy, then if two electors so wish, a by election takes place within 35 days.
The most recent Leeds Council by election took place in Hyde Park & Woodhouse ward some years ago, this resulted in the Labour Party winning it from the Liberal Democrats. There have been some by elections in parish councils but these vacancies have mostly been filled by a process called co-option.

I noticed a press release by the Leeds City Centre Police that they were warning of a rise in the use of devices that retain people’s bank cards and cash.
Police are urging people to be aware of anyone acting suspiciously near ATMs, sheild PIN numbers and to ring ATM operators with any issues.
Fair enough, but the banks themselves are stealing money from their customers every day with these machines. If the money is not taken out quick enough it goes back in the machine and has to be reclaimed.
In Scotland and Ireland, their banks are refunding this money without a claim, but here in England Millions of pounds remain in the banks, who are not planning to return it!
This could amount to about £50 Million. This money has been taken because people were too slow in collecting it, often because of distraction, daydreaming, disability or drunkenness.
Join the campaign for UK banks to return English retained ATM money, demand equality with Scotland and Ireland now!

It has emerged tonight that my local village centre, Holt Park, has many options for development like the Trolleybus, Brownfield sites and consultation will begin on these issues soon. Hovever if an upheaval were to happen on this scale in Horsforth and Otley, there would be democratic accountability through the town council, that would involve all.
I went to the meeting at Holt Park tonight, Cllr Barry Anderson was there, police, residents and various PFI people,
However, basic response to these issues is that we need a Holt Park Parish Council.
Cllr Anderson also responded to the problem of school; places in this area, and the new beingwell centre.
Ok, will look up how to propose a parish council for Holt Park as a Proctarian project?
We got some new buses. I noticed something strange straight away. Hammers were installed inside windows in the ceiling with an instruction that to get them you had to break the glass with the hammer. This was clearly daft, but I later realised what the hammers were for!
Firstbus have abolished the upstairs emergency exit and passengers are expected to break windows with the hammers in the event of an accident.
The problem with this seems to be that the windows are protected with a plastic film to stop them breaking.
I sent my concerns to Cllr Sue Bentley, and she is contacting the organisations who make transport safe?
There are some windows that have instructions for emergency use but the notices are virtually invisible, more certainly so in a crash and at night?
This adaption, of getting rid of the escape route and making it difficult to survive, are typical of a right wing “survival of the fittist” mentality, that has its origins in the wars of days gone by.

I had a day in yesterday, due to yellow Met Office Snow warning. I like snow, but here in north Weetwood we get lots more because of the fact we live 600 feet above the sea, or 200 Metres above the European Union.

Joined the English Democrats in 2010, and was their candidate here in Leeds North West. I was then appointed Leeds Chairman.
Things went well until November when a rumor went around that I had made a rascist slur, against a woman on a committee I was on, I was supposed to have said she needed to sleep with a n****r for a week. Then, I became a victim of a letter writing campaign, that I had said other things at the meetings that were basically politically incorrect. The committee decided to have an investigation.
When local Election 2011 came up. I wanted to stand as an ED candidate, but as I was being investigated for racism, I felt I better not, as not only was my reputation at stake it could reflect on my party if it became public. I stood as an independent for Weetwood. This appeared to upset The ED.
I was then sacked from my Chairmanship of Leeds English Democrats and replaced by Chris Beverley, this proved controversial because he was a former BNP councillor in Leeds.
I had been at a meeting when Chris was recruited to the ED and he signed a declaration to forgo the BNP links and relaunch his politics.
Meanwhile, back at my committee, they were minded to give me a written warning even though I denied I had made a racist slur, the woman never heard it, and someone who said he did was absent from the meeting.
When I stood for the ED in 2010, I got information that showed that a reputed far left organisation had infiltrated my life. I took the unusual step of doing audio recordings of any meetings I attended, as a precaution. I was scared.
When the committee heard that I had recorded their meeting and could prove conclusively I had made no racist comments, there was a further investigation, during which I was suspended for recording them.
I was then removed from the committee because I recorded it and given the right of appeal to the company board.
I felt it was the right time to stand for the English Democrats in May 2012, and wish to thank all who voted.
The Company Board has banned me for life for me being elected to the committee ever again, unless they change their mind?

I have not informed the English Democrats about the ongoing dispute but I can say that I never voted for Chris Beverley to be Chairman of Leeds English Democrats, nor as far as I know, any other Leeds member so Peter Davies might be right?

Former English Democrat Doncaster elected Mayor Peter Davies was on TV today. Sunday Politics. He said that the English Democrats had far right infiltration from the BNP that amounted to a coup. A Former Leeds BNP councillor had taken up the top ED job in West Yorkshire. Peter Davies is now an Independent and is defending his job in the May elections.
There was a lot of discussion about pressure on the Boston community due to the influx of a lot of workers from abroad to work on farms. The suggestion is that this is being adapted to by a rise in support for the BNP because the big parties could not do anything about it. Also locals could not get these jobs for one reason or another.

I heard an owl calling here in Weetwood tonight, probably located in Tinshill protected woodland, whats left of it. First one ever I have heard here! There used to be one that lived on Queenswood Drive that ate cats.
Just drizzle and rain tonight, its a balmy four degrees C here at the moment, but as easterly winds pick up overnight, its going to freeze and turn to light snow.
Later on sunday, yellow warning for snow, perhaps heavy. I just got back from visiting Jenny C. She always gets upset by bereavements, when she met the late Suzi at Frank Bywell Edwards Funeral, they got on ok, but JC has had two more losses this week. She wanted to go to Luke’s funeral this week, also another one last week but cannot contact the families.
Jenny C needs help, her gas heating has run out and tonight would not let me go down the cellar to put emergency credit on because of worries about spiders and mould, and other things that might contaminate her front room on my clothing.
Her Electricity is the only thing keeping her warm tonight, but the halogen heater only gives out 900 watts. She is at risk of hypothermia tonight, she sits in her mastermind chair wearing a thin wonsie, surrounded by papers and things that should have been thrown away.
I have made sure that Jenny has enough food to last 24 Hours, but the main risk now is that the electric will cut out and she will die from cold, stroke or heart attack, as detailed on NHS thermometer.
British Gas have a device built into their intelligent meters that is supposed to stop the electric being cut off before the shops open on monday mornings so the electric keys can be recharged.
Will Jenny C die from hypothermia tonight through self neglect? Will the Electric Cut out?. Will Jenny C allow me do go down the cellar and put emergency credit on both meters tomorrow?
Will it snow? Why is there no crisis team to help me or Jenny in this situation?

Political Parties need to be reclassified under 3D principles. We need to stop the attack on supported people, lower classes and people who adapt! We need far centre politics now to save the human race!
Here is an Example, the Nazi’s. A bunch of survival of the fittest, lower class workers Right, Down, Out!
The rot in the Labour party has set in because they have gradually adopted survival of the fittest policies and are busy attacking supported people.
The Conservatives are becoming lower class and also attacking both workers and supported people as well, the anti family party!
The rusting lady once said there was no such thing as class, but 3D politics is here to stay where are you on my new 3D political spectrum?

I would like to pay tribute to the late Cllr Suzi Armitage who passed away on Wednesday this week, she was always one of my inspirations to carry on campaigning. I first met Suzi when we were a delegate to Leeds Trades Council. She was left wing Unison, I was TSSA who are neither one or the other.
The last time I saw Suzi was at the funeral of Frank Edwards MBE at Seacroft Club, Frank, was NUR then RMT, possibly May 2012.

According to a notice in YEP Cllr Armitage’s funeral will take place in St James’s Church Seacroft at 10:15 am on Monday 25 February at 10.15 am. RIP
Peter Davies, Elected Mayor of Doncaster has resigned from the English Democrats Party. He has been reported as saying that this was due to his concerns that some former BNP members have joined the party. This might be true but BNP members have joined other parties as well. The increasingly right wing Labour party has recruited BNP members, including a former BNP councillor and parliamentary candidate. This person is now a Labour councillor. English Democrats are neither Left or Right and I personally are neither Up, Down, In, Out, either.
People seen to like spreading nasty rumors to win power and elections. A favorite one is to play the race card, or falsely saying that someone is far right.
I hope that the English Democrats select a new candidate for the election, until which Peter Davies appears to be continuing as an independent!
If I find that any of the allegations made against the English Democrats are true, obviously I will have to think about if I renew my membership. It was interesting to note that this news story was effectively buried by the gay marriage story that came out the same day?
